Here’s part two of my quarter two series. Part one is here.
It’s been a while since I’ve last gushed over a K-drama. I think the last drama that I’ve adored is Fight My Way with Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won. I’ve watched that series around this time last year. Can you imagine my K-drama drought? I know, I know. There are a lot of good K-dramas this year but there wasn’t a lot that I wanted to watch until Pretty Noona Buys Me Food / Something in the Rain!
I’m back with another (and my first for 2018) K-Review and this time its Bride of the Water God. I started watching this last December 2017 but somehow along the way, I lost motivation to watch it because the plot was too shallow for me. I persevered to watch it by mostly fast forwarding most of the scenes that didn’t involve the character Shin Hoo Ye, played by Lim Ju Hwan.
This series was something I’ve wanted to watch for a while thanks to Vienna and some other friends on Twitter. I didn’t have any expectations, as usual, and stayed away from reviews and such just so I can enjoy the series on my own.
