I don’t know how many times I’ve said it but I am trying to look for a business I can do while having a regular 9-5. One idea I got was selling cookies. I know how simple it sounds but some of the best ideas are the simple ones, right? Before you judge me, I knew I had an 80% chance of failing this business but I still wanted to try. I don’t look at these ventures as failures, I look at them as opportunities where I can figure out what I am really good at and what I can focus on as a business.
I was going to cook my favorite adobo when a thought occurred to me that there are a million ways to cook adobo. I went to Pinterest typed in adobo and a whole new adobo world was opened to me. My husband and I decided to try the adobo sa asin first because the picture looked yummy.
I know I’ve just been sharing with you the good stuff but in reality, there were a lot of failures along the way. I could count the number of times I’d have to force myself to eat what I cooked just because it didn’t fit my taste. There were also times my husband had to say it tasted nice even when his face says otherwise. He’s been kind and extremely supportive as I figure out the whole cooking situation!
