I said I wanted to add more veggies in my life. I saw tortang talong in our office cafeteria and thought to myself, easy. I asked my husband if he’d like for us to try this and he said yes, lol. I honestly thought it was easy and straightforward but I underestimated this dish or was I just overconfident?
I was going through some of my Cooking Diaries and saw the Volume 11 which featured Baked Salmon. I wanted to recreate it since salmon is my husband’s favorite fish (wow, yaman) and once in a while, we do allow ourselves to indulge with this expensive fish.
I was going to cook my favorite adobo when a thought occurred to me that there are a million ways to cook adobo. I went to Pinterest typed in adobo and a whole new adobo world was opened to me. My husband and I decided to try the adobo sa asin first because the picture looked yummy.
Cooking is fun but honestly, it does get boring and it sometimes becomes more of a chore instead of a hobby or passion. I was in a rut and I just wanted someone to cook for me. I took it as a sign and challenged myself to cook beef and cook our leftovers.
