Japan 2017: Maruyama Park + Yasaka Shrine, Kyoto

The last place on our itinerary was the Maruyama Park and Yasaka Shrine. These two sights are just beside each other and can be visited together. Maruyama Park is one of the best places to see cherry blossoms in spring. They have this famous weeping tree that looks beautiful in spring and creepy in fall (for me)! Yasaka Shrine is a famous shrine between Gion and Higashiyama Districts. Aside from the shrines, the dance stage (which houses lanterns) is a sight to see during the evening.
