Seeing Kyoto Tower wasn’t part of our itinerary. In fact, we didn’t even bother looking it up online. But when we alighted our bus at Kyoto Station, we were surprised that Kyoto Tower was right behind us.

By this point of the Kyoto tour, our legs were already turning jello. We walked all the way from Kiyomizu-dera to get to Kodai-ji Temple and we were just about ready to call it quits.
