When it comes to my skincare routine, I’ve already found the products my skin needs. I love all my skincare products and I have no reason to change it up but when this new baby came out the market, I was so excited for it and I knew I had to get my hands on it. Of course, it only took me months before finally getting it and reviewing it because my rule (and it should be yours too) is, I should only have one product for every skincare step.
Two in One Poreless Power Liquid is dually able for your pore care with BHA to help clean the pores, Tannin to help tighten them.
True to its predecessors the new CosRX products comes in with a minimal packaging and frosted bottle. Similar to the BHA Blackhead Power Liquid, you have to pump out the product. This product is advertised to give you glass-like skin with continuous use. There’s even this article from BeautyMNL that convinced me that I needed it. Talk about effective marketing, right?
My main problem area is blackheads and pores so I really had high hopes for this product. I use this nightly, religiously, in hopes to take care of that.
What I like about this product is it’s very lightweight, it feels like you only need a couple of minutes for it to penetrate into your skin and do its magic. After using this for a month, I did see a reasonable decrease in my pore size, especially on my nose area. You could really see the difference. (Trust me on this, I have a big pore on my nose and I could barely see it now. I’m just not a good beauty blogger that’s why I have no before and after photos.)
What I don’t like about this product is using it alone didn’t control my blackhead situation. It took a while but eventually, the blackheads on my nose area became noticeable again! When I got this product, there weren’t many reviews, I just got it because it was on sale and the price difference was pretty large that I just went for it. While I was using it, it was only then that I’d realize that it only had 0.1% BHA in it. Which basically means, it’s not going to help with my blackheads. I’ve learned the hard way that this product alone can give you almost poreless skin that may have blackheads.
Will I recommend this product? It would definitely depend on what skin problem you may have. If you have big pores, I’d highly recommend you to give it a try. It really works! However, if you have other skin issues like whiteheads and blackheads, I’d still use chemical exfoliants even if you’re already using this. This product is definitely not a substitute for those. Do I like it? It’s very, meh for me. It costs 990 PHP on BeautyMNL and for that price point what it does/did for my skin it’s not worth it. Thanks for the smaller pores but I really don’t like the blackheads I now have
In case you’re wondering, I consider my old BHA Blackhead Power Liquid as a toner and I consider this one as a toner as well which means I can’t have it both. I am trying to minimize my skincare routine and I like it best when one product solves multiple skin issues. This product is a nice addition to your skincare routine if you’re into that but if you want to save on a few pesos, I wouldn’t recommend this.
