Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! I can eat breakfast meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. That’s how much I love breakfast. That’s why it wasn’t a surprise for me when I wanted to recreate some of my favorite breakfast items myself.
Judy Ann’s Tapa
I honestly didn’t know that Judy Ann had her own YouTube channel! She shares mostly cooking videos. The one I was most eager to try was her recipe on homemade tapa on her silog breakfasts video.
While cooking this, I honestly thought it was going to turn out as bistek! I was so worried. You just really have to dry out the beef and fry it. The tapa turned out pretty good. It wasn’t the tapa I liked but it was definitely a good start. Next time, I might add some other ingredients to suit my taste buds.
This one is pretty simple and straightforward. I just wanted an easy breakfast spread I could easily prepare during the mornings. I’m not a fan of mayonnaise so imagine my surprise when I enjoyed this. You can substitute the egg with tuna or chicken to make tuna and chicken spreads. Quick and healthy. Two of my favorite things. 🙂
The homemade tapa has is a highlight for me. I love tapa and just being able to do it myself was such a big feat for me. Next time I will personalize the recipe and probably add sugar and chili. If you know Tapa King’s Queen tapa, that’s the one I want to recreate. 🙂
