Hi guys, welcome to my month ending coffee date! It honestly feels like I have a lot to tell you but I’m not so sure if I could remember everything. Do you ever have those moments when you want to share tons of things but when the moment is already there you just don’t know where to start? I’m going to try my best, so let’s start!

If we were having coffee, let me just share with you that I am so happy that it’s only two more days until the end of July. I have been blogging every day and I am tired. As fun as it is to challenge my creativity daily, it is hard to do it. I always want to share content that inspires people or make people think. I’m not sure if in the 29 days I have been posting I have done that.

Anyway, I’m just happy July is almost over and I could finally say that I have (almost, I still have 2 more days) posted every day for a whole month! It sounds simple but with work, marriage life, chores, and everything else in between, I almost didn’t make it. I am thankful for all the new blogger friends I’ve talked to the past month. πŸ™‚ Should I do this again?

If we were having coffee, I’m probably going to share with you that July has been a cooking month. I have cooked a lot of food and have tried tons of new recipes. My husband and I also gained weight. I’m so annoyed that I gained weight because I have to maintain my 125 lbs for my PCOS. I hate that I cook such good food, lol. Be prepared for all the food-related posts this blog will have because of my new passion!

If we were having coffee, let me share with you that at work we are having our annual performance assessments. I know I’ve shared with you previously that I want to get promoted but after talking with my career counselor, I realized that I have to control my expectations. It is always better to expect the worst and hope for the best.

I really hate this time of the year. It makes me feel judged. I feel like everyone is nitpicking my work. There’s always office politics and this time of the year it’s on full blast. I’d like to share with you all the drama but I’d rather not. I just want to get my bonus and pay increase, please.

That’s it for my monthly roundup. July has been challenging! I’m ready for a more chill August. How was your July like?

Looking forward to more food related posts! & definitely, I think you should post more in Aug. but not if it will become more of a chore, you know?!

      1. It turned out amazingly! I’m not sure if it was exactly how it’s supposed to taste but boyfriend & I loved it. πŸ™‚
I honestly feel like I’m forgetting to do something if I don’t write everyday now & sometimes I schedule posts so I’m not really writing every single day.

  2. Hey Kat! Hello from August. πŸ™‚

July was good for me. I went on a break to my hometown and had the longest morning walks amid greenery, and ate all the lovely stuff my mom cooked or bought for us. My aunt was also visiting, so it was good catching up with her. Also, got to celebrate my brother’s birthday as a whole family!

I suffer from insomnia and have been sleeping relatively better – that’s helpful. So,all in all, July was great and here’s hoping for a better August.

Wish you a good month as well! Your post makes me want to write my own coffee date post – someday, someday! πŸ™‚

  3. Hi Kat!
Happy August! Well, almost halfway through actually. lol It sounds like July has been a busy month for you! Great job on blogging everyday. That is impressive. I know that I often struggle with creating interesting content on a consistent basis. It is also wonderful that you have been cooking for you and your husband! I finally started intermittent fasting. Thanks again for suggesting it πŸ™‚ Evaluation season sounds nerve-wracking and I hope it will be done soon for you.

July was a good month for me. I practiced pilates every single day and yoga most days. Also started intermittent fasting. Christopher and I have moved to Maine which is all the way across the USA and on the east coast. It is so beautiful here and we are surrounded by waterfront. I was feeling a little homesick towards the middle of July, but am thankfully feeling a lot better now. I hope you are doing well dear friend!

    1. Heeyyy Alana! How is intermittent fasting for you? Is it working? I’m so glad you tried it. I wish it works for you too! You’ve moved a lot. I hope Maine will treat you well and you and Chris create beautiful memories there. 😊 good job on the exercise to too! I haven’t been exercising a lot since it’s been raining non stop here.
