I started my day with a kiss on my cheek from my husband. I roll over and say good morning. I smell food and ask him if he cooked breakfast for me. He did so I got up and went to the little girl’s room to freshen up.

When I walked into the dining room my favorite breakfast meals were there. We had tapa, longganisa, garlic fried rice, and eggs! YUM. We devoured the food while talking about what our day would look like. After that discussion was done, I got up to wash the dishes but he said he’d do it. I don’t know what’s gotten to him so I asked him if he did something wrong, lol. He said he just wanted to do something for me. I shrug it off and went back to bed because what’s better than lying down after eating, right?

I scrolled through social media, watched videos on YouTube, and checked my blog. I was getting bored so I asked him if he wanted to go to the grocery with me. Off we went to the grocery to buy essentials and food. I bought ingredients for curry since we had a packet of curry powder at home. Once we got home, I started to cook.

After an hour and a half, lunch was ready and we were going to eat again. The food was good but a little wrong. It had that feeling that something was missing. I asked him if it was the same way for him but he said it was alright. He, again, washed the dishes while I played The Sims.

A few hours have passed when he asked me if we could go on a date. He took me to a hotel for a romantic dinner. It was one of those candlelit dinners we both didn’t like. It was supposed to be romantic but we’re not accustomed to that kind of thing which made the whole thing look like a joke to us. I again asked him if there was something wrong and he told me to relax. He just wanted to do something we don’t do often. It was supposed to spice things up, whatever that meant.

After dinner, we strolled around the hotel. It was one of those classy ones where you could do a million activity inside. We window shopped and I asked him if we were spending the night there. His answer was a flat out no, lol. He told me the dinner was already expensive and we can’t afford a night there.

Now we are at home. He’s watching TV while I share with the world how our day was like. Find yourself a partner who would do these simple acts of kindness. It makes all the difference and it makes life worth living. ❤

LOL I’m kidding. It’s been raining nonstop and my partner and I didn’t even leave the house. We spent the day inside. We did laundry, cooked, cleaned (my least favorite thing to do), lie down and did nothing. I’m ending the day by imagining things I’d want to be done for me but he wouldn’t (and I don’t trust him to) do. For real though, today’s highlight was making tapa (we’ll cook it tomorrow for breakfast omg excited) and cooking curry that looks like kaldereta. How was your day? What would be a perfect day for you? The forecast for tomorrow still looks gloomy. I’m probably going to spend my Sunday here on WordPress. That’s still a lot better than being outside and getting wet by rain. I hope Monday would be sunny.

  1. Luh… Kinikilig na ko eh. I was about to say na I want to have a partner like him, doing little things when I feel like lying the whole day.

Pero oo nga, #BedWeather. Nakakulong lang din akk the whole day. 😊

    1. I love it too but it’s been raining for 2 weeks straight here. I think 2 typhoons passed us during that time. Good thing it didn’t flood in our area but in the other places it did 😦

      1. Oh it’s good that it doesn’t flood in your area. Somtimes there are “storms” here, but they are not like the typhoons in the Philippines. I laugh sometimes when they call them storms. 😅
