K-Review: Fight My Way

I finally finished watching the series Fight My Way and let me tell you, I love it. The story revolves around four childhood friends and their struggles as they go through life. It stars Park Seo Joon, Kim Ji Won, Ahn Jae Hong and Song Ha Yoon. All are pleasing to the eyes making watching this show easy and fun to watch.

I love this series because of its plot. It mainly revolves around these four people. Two of them, Ko Dong Man and Choi Ae Ra, (played by Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won) are trying to chase their childhood dreams after not being able to pursue it when they were younger. They also pursue their love for each other as they get to know their true feelings. I love this part of the story because of how it reminds us that no matter how young or old you are, you are entitled to pursue your dreams and go for it. No dream is impossible to reach just as long as you have the passion for it.

The series also tells us about the love story of Kim Joo Man and Baek Seol Hee (played by Ahn Jae Hong and Song Ha Yoon). They are in a six-year relationship but Kim Joo Man gets tempted by a younger office mate which leads to their relationship’s decline. What I love about this part of the story is Baek Seol Hee’s growth. She started out as a timid and a pushover but as the story progressed, she came out of her shell and became a confident woman who didn’t stand behind her man. I also love their relationship. It was comfortable and honest – it was like home. It reminds us that we should cherish our relationships no matter how long or short we have been together. It also reminds us we should never forget about ourselves even if we are in committed relationships.

Overall, it’s a fun, light and easy series to watch with lessons that resonated with me. All the four actors portrayed their characters well. I highly recommend you to watch this show. A perfect summer show to remind us that there’s more to life than what meets the eye.

Have you watched this? What do you think of the series?

To keep it short and simple: I'm thirty+ years old. Still plenty young, but not as young as I used to be.
