Ah, I’m pretty happy this week as this week marks the end of my four year project that has me working night shifts. No more commuting at night. No more being scared as I try and ride a jeep at Baclaran. No more weird sleeping patterns. Hello normal life. I just hope this celebration won’t be short lived.

As I mentioned, if we were having coffee, I’d tell you first about my immense happiness that I am no longer working night shifts! Yey. Unfortunately, the boyfriend wasn’t as lucky and ended up getting extended with the project until October. I don’t necessarily mind that much because I like the space. We have never worked apart and this change is more than welcome. I’ll miss him terribly but I like to try to love him from a distance as well. I’m trying to write a good bye post of sorts but I’m still waiting for my creative juices to flow.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’m super excited working on day shift! YEY. I can just imagine the exercise I could sneak in here and there and the social life I could be having again. True, I’d rather prefer sitting here in front of my computer rather than going out but OMG…you guys have no idea how many get-togethers I have skipped because of the conflict with schedules. I’ll probably meet up with my most important friends while I’ll be more open to possible hang outs with the not so important ones. I’m just so excited.
If we were having coffee, can we just quickly talk about Kimye-Taylor drama. I love it. It’s so hilarious. It’s such a petty fight but I love how they’re out to ruin each other on the internet. Plus this BuzzFeed article that sums up the drama using the Mean Girls got me giggling like a little girl. Honestly, however, I don’t care that much. It’s funny what’s happening but there are just so many MORE important matters to discuss.
Lastly, if we were having coffee, I’d remind you about the time a couple of weeks back when I told you about my identity crisis with this blog. I’d just like to give you an update that I feel more confident with what I want and where I want to take this blog and it feels good. I’ll make some changes here and there as time goes by (and also revert to a free WordPress site or a different URL altogether) and I hope you guys stick with me through it.
That’s basically it. I feel positive and excited for the changes that’ll be happening in my life. What’s happening in your neck of the woods? I’d love to know!
