Review: Mary Grace Pt.2

For two consecutive Saturdates, Mike and I have been going to SM Southmall. And for both times, we ate at Mary Grace! I previously did a review on them here and I rated them with 4 stars. Ladies and gentlemen, I am upping their rating to a 5 stars.

Here’s what we had:

Seafood Chowder

Seafood Pasta

Spicy Lemon Scampi

I know I said we had two dates here but we only have 3 dishes to boast lol. That’s because we ordered almost the same food the second time we went there. Their Seafood Chowder Soup is beyond words. I love how it is filled with real seafood – shrimp, fish, mussels and squid – and has that perfect creamy soup. It’s a great starter to order. Plus, a single order can serve two, just ask your server to split it. The Seafood Pasta is so good. I feel like crying as I type this. It was just so good. LOL. I might be a little biased because I’m in love with pastas that are oil based. Anyway, as you can see from the picture above, they give you a generous topping of seafood so you really get a bang for your peso. The Spicy Lemon Scampi is just wow. I love how the lemon gives the whole dish a tangy taste but it definitely goes well with the spiciness. I am planning to make a version of this because I just loved it.

I had the best time here. All their dishes are superb plus their cakes and other deserts (sorry, too busy eating to take a photo) are a perfect ending to any meal. I highly suggest you guys try eating here. It’s on the pricier side of life but it’s all worth it in the end! 😉
