Let’s have coffee

Hi everyone! I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do with my blog. I feel overwhelmed, but in a good way! If we were having coffee, I’d tell you let’s make this short but eventful. Are you ready? Let’s GO!!

If we were having coffee, I’d share with you that I have a to-do list for my blog and I feel like it’s getting longer. It’s probably because of the travels I had to do which meant I had to put this little space on hold. Also because I’ve been lurking around the internet and I feel like my space looks too…simple? Or a better description would be, it doesn’t look like how I want it to look. I want to install custom themes and have a chance to personalize the layout etc but I can’t do that with a premium WordPress account. Does this mean I’ll have to self host? I have until August to think of it. Maybe a new domain to? My domain feels really stupid, shallow and meaningless. LOL.

If we were having coffee, I’d skip everything else and ask you guys have you watched the new Gerard Butler movie, London has Fallen? I watched it with the boyfriend yesterday and I must say, I was disappointed. It didn’t have the realistic feel to it. I felt like I was playing counter strike. And Gerarld Butler looks too old, like he’s getting tired of keeping Aaron Eckhert alive. On a more serious note though, I also had a chance to watch 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Banghazi and I just feel like the war on terrorism is getting out of hand. Governments using drones, innocent people getting killed, terrorists trying to get revenge…it’s just turning into a viscous cycle. You, me and everyone else who are just tying to go through life are stuck in the middle. 😦

If we were having coffee, I’d have to say goodbye now. I just finished sorting out pictures of my Calaguas trip and I am too excited to create a post. The pictures are amazing and I cannot wait to share! ps. I see a lot of travel blogs who edit out their pictures, I’m torn between doing that or sticking with the original. I like sticking with the original to show my readers a real view compared to edited out ones. Or maybe I just don’t like editing because I don’t have a nice editing software?

That’s it for today’s coffee date! Did you have a good week? What happened? I’d love to hear it.

Love, Kat.

  1. I feel you on the lots of blogging work to do thing—I’ve got so many Grand Plans that I need to sort through and put into action! There just never seems to be a good time for an overhaul, though, between posting and commenting and link-ups and then all the offline stuff there is to do!
