Recipe: Garlic Scampi Pasta

racks garlic scampi pastaThe Inspiration: Having eaten at Rack’s a lot of times, this dish is my ultimate favorite. Presenting to you, Rack’s Garlic Scampi Pasta. It is so good, I can eat it all by myself. 😛

For those, like me, who do not know what the word Scampi means –

Scampi is a name for various culinary preparations of certain crustaceans, commonly Nephrops norvegicus (the Norway lobster, sometimes itself called “scampi” or “langoustine”), or a similar lobster such as Metanephrops, as well as shrimp or prawns. -Wikipedia

Basically, its yuminess, and you know it. 😉

What you’ll need:

  • Olive oil
  • Garlic
  • Butter
  • Brocolli
  • Spaghetti Noodles

What you’ll do:

  • Cook your pasta as required and set aside.
  • In a pan, add in olive oil and butter.
  • Add in garlic, shrimp and brocolli. Mix.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add in your noodles.

  • Mix. Add in olive oil if a little dry.

This has to be, by far, my favorite pasta dish I have ever cooked…ever. It’s so good and I love how even without the shrimp, it is a meal by itself. It is so good and I love the fact that vegetables are added into the mix. 🙂

  1. yummy looking indeed. now try it without the pasta. put some oyster sauce while cooking the shrimp and broccoli. save some roasted garlic from when you first sauted it and put on top of everything when about to serve.
